MRC Systems from Heidelberg presents products for laser beam stabilisation. The turnkey systems enable real-time stabilisation of laser beam pointing in industrial and scientific applications. They compensate for undesired motions like drifts or vibrations.
Typical applications are in micromachining where the scanners must be hit with highest accuracy or the deviations of sliding stages must be corrected. Others are the adjustment of multiple laser beams onto common axes, the coupling into optical fibres, or the ease of the first or re-alignment of a laser after a service.
The systems combine precise position detectors and piezo-driven mirrors with fast closed-loop controllers. Working without digitising steps and the minimisation of latencies makes them extremely fast and accurate.
